We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to participate in our trip to Vienna, which was once the main imperial and cultural center of Europe and the seat of the Hapsburg Empire from the 18th century.
In the Advent time the city is beautifully decorated and next to the Town Hall there are special frequented Christmas markets.
We will set off for the southern border of the Czech Republic by bus and arrive at the edge of the city, which is traversed by Europe's largest river, the Danube, after 3 - 4 hours of travel through the picturesque landscape of Bohemia and Moravia
Our bus will travel around the famous Ringstrasse, a magnificent boulevard which Franz Josef I had built in the 1880's on the site of demolished fortifications. On the way, you will see the splendid and majestic buildings of palaces, museums, hotels and parks with statues of important people.
We will then travel to the southern edge of the city where you can view Schronbrunn, the former summer residence of the imperial family, and its beautiful reservoir. After the tour of the gardens and the Schonbrunn chateau, we will return by bus to the center of the city where there will be a walking tour leading through the complex of the Hapsburg winter residence, the Hofburg, to Saint Stephen's Cathedral.
After guided tour you will have a free for lunch or shopping. Visit the Christmas markets and see the holiday decorations of the city.
We will meet up in front of Saint Stephen's Cathedral again and return to the bus which will take us back to Prague.
